Vibrations at Fringe PVD

Vibrations is an original performance art piece that looks to experiment with movement and sound to explore the different ways queer and disabled people experience sound. This project was conceived during the pandemic, and is an embodiment of the frustrations of being a disabled being in able-bodied spaces and the uneven access of sound. Vibrations is a therapeutic exploration of how to queer sound, fight with sound, and celebrate sound in a performance space.

You’ll follow The Body as they move through a series of dream scenes curiously exploring the Vibrations dreamscape. As the body begins to find their footing, they immerse themselves into the dreamscape and become a full part of it. This show is a journey through the consciousness of the body centering joy, experimentation, and growth.

Vibrations includes dancing, funky fresh tunes with a full rock band, killer projections with open captions, and all the good vibes we can muster!
