George Kassis will make sense of the situation and explore long-term implications.
George Kassis was born and raised in Syria, spent over 25 years with the United Nations, and has taught courses on understanding the Middle East. He will discuss the current situation for Turkey, Syria, and the Kurds. His talk will attempt to make sense of what happened in and after 2014, as well as examine the political implications.
