Beginner Hip-Hop: (Saturdays 1-2 PM / Laisha Crum and Jemmarie Dupuis) Learn basic hip-hop techniques through rhythm, musicality, and choreography. Students will learn to memorize choreography by working on a series of combinations each session. (Ages 6 and up)
Intermediate Hip-Hop: (MW: 5-6 PM / Sokeo Ros) Continue to learn more advanced hip-hop techniques through rhythm, musicality, and choreography. Students will learn to memorize choreography by working on a series of combinations each session. Students usually perform at least 3 times per session, and are strongly encouraged to attend each performance. (Ages 10 and up)
Advanced Hip-Hop: (MW 6-7 PM / Sokeo Ros) Students continue to explore advanced hip-hop techniques through rhythm, musicality, and choreography. This class is for students with more experience and needs the instructor’s permission to participate.
Video: (T 5-6pm F 3-4PM / Justine Jungels Bevilacqua) Students will gain experience creating their own films while learning the fundamentals of video production. Students will learn the basics of creating a story, filming, and editing using Final Cut Pro.
Children’s Theatre: (T 4-5 PM /Vincent Baskerville and Jemmarie Dupuis) Bring your kids to learn techniques in acting & improvisation. They will be gaining skills such as, social, communication, storytelling, and character development, while having fun! (Ages 6 and up)
Yoga: (Mondays 5-6 PM/ Aaron) Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices and disciplines which originated in ancient India. Yoga is one of the six orthodox schools of Hindu philosophy. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation. It helps to improve health and happiness. (Ages 13 and up)
Ballet and Creative Movement: (T TR 4-5 PM / Grace Jungels Bevilacqua) This class continues to teach basic ballet techniques and explores movement and improvisation through dance, stimulating students’ imagination and creativity. (Ages 8-12)
Farm Team: (T 6-7 PM TR 4-5 PM / Dorothy Jungels) The farm team is a core group of dedicated students interested in pursuing the arts as a profession. Students are provided experience and training in areas of improv comedy, musical improv, and performance technique. The young actors test and develop their skills while they serve their community performing at retirement homes, schools, and hospitals. (Grades 9 and up)
Polynesian (Saturdays, 3:30-5:30 PM / Carolyn Castro): Learn dances from the Polynesian islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, the Philippines, and Samoa. Students will explore traditional Polynesian dances including the Hula and the Tinikling.
