Save the Date! The Office of Sustainability is once again partnering with the Rhode Island Sierra Club, Green Energy Consumers Alliance, the Racial and Environmental Justice Committee, and others to host the 2019 SustainPVD Fair!
This year we’ve teamed up with The Avenue Concept to host the fair at their creative hub in Upper South Providence.
Events throughout the day will include a Compost Workshop at the SustainPVD Fair hosted by Groundwork Rhode Island and a Rain Barrel Workshop at the SustainPVD Fair hosted by the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council. This community event is family friendly and will include food and entertainment. It is free and open to the public, however, the compost and rain barrel workshops will have a separate registration process and a small fee, which include the supplies and materials for participants to take home their own compost bin and/or rain barrel.
