Bramwell Tovey conducts Rhode Island Philharmonic,
Bramwell Tobey conducts Rhode Island Philharmonic in String Kingdom: English string music from across four centuries, by Henry Purcell, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Benjamin Britten. Plus, hear the massed strings of Elgar’s “Introduction and Allegro” hauntingly echoed by a string quartet. This music moved a kingdom.
