Snowtown Discovery Walks

Join the Snowtown Research Team for a series of walking conversations about Snowtown, a small mixed-race Coveside neighborhood, now gone.

The Snowtown Project Research Team has been delving into archives to help reconstruct a neighborhood on the North Shore of the Providence Cove. Home to a variety of people sometimes unwelcome in the established center of Providence, a diverse group of folks built their homes and businesses here alongside many others just passing through.
