Singing The Dream: An Open Sing!

No rehearsals, no concert — just choral singers of all levels of experience from all around Rhode Island getting together for an afternoon of song, community and fellowship honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

During this lively afternoon we will sing “Dreams”, words by Langston Hughes and music by Rollo Dilworth and “We are The World” by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and other songs loved by Dr. King.  Cantor Dr. Brian J. Mayer, Hazzan at Temple Emanu-El and Mr. Patrick Aiken, Organist & Choir Director at Central Congregational Church will be our music directors for the afternoon, accompanied by talented local musicians.  Music will be provided for all.  Refreshments and a light supper will be served.
