Revolve Dance Project

REVOLVE Dance Project was created by professional ballet dancers eager to explore artistic collaboration, create world premiere works, and connect with their audiences. Focused on featuring powerful, enthusiastic artists, REVOLVE integrates live musicians throughout the creation process, giving a uniquely dynamic voice to its of-the-moment choreographers and seasoned dancers.

This will be the premiere performance of the Revolve Dance Project, featuring a world premiere work by renowned choreographer Kurt Douglas with music by Juilliard-trained cellist Daniel Hass. An exciting collaboration of dance and music, Revolve’s premiere performance highlights 6 professional ballet dancers and 4 professional musicians. Dancers include Azamat Asungul, Brenna DiFrancesco, Kirsten Evans, Kailee Felix, Alex Lantz, and Mamuka Kikalishvili. Featured musicians will include Daniel Hass, Cameron MacIntosh, Josh Knowles, and Chrissy Stewart. The event will consist of two performances (4-5pm and 7-8pm) on Saturday, July 24th at the Temple to Music at Roger Williams Park in Providence. All donation-based ticket tales will benefit artists affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Open air performance, please bring your own chairs.
