Reception for 'Drawing Conclusions' at IMAGO Gallery

Imago Foundation for the Arts presents “Drawing Conclusions” featuring interdisciplinary artist Douglas Breault and guest artists Sarah Daughn and Alyssa Stuart along with Imago member artists. Over the course of this exhibition, Breault will use the gallery space as his studio. He will create paintings and drawings while visitors observe and interact with him. His project will begin at the free public reception that will be held for all the artists amd will continue each Friday during the exhibit as he explores the impact of social interaction on his work. A stop-motion video will record the spatial leaps, false starts, and abrupt changes of direction that occur and will be shown at a closing reception. Both the video and final art work created will be on display at the gallery through July 24

Daughn will be presenting landscapes in oil paint on canvas and on paper inspired by the view of a river she sees through the glass walls of her house in Dartmouth, MA.  Using wood and steel, Stuart will present flowing sculptural forms based on female anatomy.
