“Mysteries from Quikuchá” : Questions, answers and more questions

Friday, August 18, 2:30-4 pm

Common Room

In this conversatory, Argentinean artist hernán darío jourdan will share questions guiding the creation of Quikuchá –a video-performance piece currently delivered by the Narragansett waters and beyond. Adjusting to crisis and human-led changes in the environment, Quikuchá explores migration from human and non-human perspectives. Its approach to the creative process is conceived as a space where imaginations draw alternative models for ways of being, engaging testimonial documentation, and eco-fiction through different artistic disciplines.
