Curatorial Statement: Tidal Resonance
Tides are the rise and fall of bodies of water. The highest tides occur during the New Moon and Full Moon, when the Moon and Sun pull at the Earth. Tidal energy resonates, amplifies, dissipates.
We are reminded that water holds knowledge. It carries histories,
futures, growth and destruction, instruction for movement, unwavering reflection, the smallest and largest organisms, and the eternal vibration of your voice
offered
to a tide.
