Stephen West, professor of music at the University of Michigan, leads a workshop on healthy vocal technique, with emphasis on maintaining vocal longevity.
Stephen West is a professor of music at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. Many of his graduated students are enjoying success in opera and musical theatre, and his music education graduates can be found teaching at major universities. In this workshop, he will talk about healthy vocal techniques for people who intend to sing (or have been singing) for a very long time.
