Out of the Fray

This is an entirely virtual exhibition, curated by Judith Tolnick Champa, for Brown University’s Watson Institute called OUT OF THE FRAY that continues through January 31, 2021!

It features 12 contemporary artists who deal with the American flag as a powerful symbol of critique, and 3 renowned progenitor artists: Robert Frank, Jasper Johns, Faith Ringgold.

The show was given Critic’s Choice recognition in the Boston Globe 2 weeks after it “opened” and is part of Art Daily as of today.
