Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra Season Finale

The Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra, Rhode Island’s premier community based orchestra, will present its season finale.

Katherine Winterstein, violinist, joins NaBSco in performing Dmitri Shostakovich’s stunning and often volatile Violin Concert No. 1.  Shostakovich is one of Russia’s most brilliant composers of the twentieth century.   Katherine Winterstein is assistant concertmaster of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra. She also performs with the Aurea Ensemble, is co-concertmaster of the Boston Pops  Esplanade Orchestra, and concertmaster of the Vermont Symphony.

Also featured on the concert is Robert Schumann’s highly emotional Symphony No. 2.
