Movies On The Rocks: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

The 11th Annual MOVIES ON THE ROCKS series continues at Ballard Park with a free screening of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and a short provided by the Rhode Island International Film Festival.

Rated PG13, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade stars Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones embarking on a search for the Holy Grail. He learns that another archaeologist has disappeared while searching for the precious goblet, and the missing man is his own father, Dr. Henry Jones (Sean Connery). The artifact is much harder to find than they expected, and its powers are too much for those impure in heart.  The movie is 127 minutes long.

Movies begin at dusk (typically between 8:00 and 8:15 pm) in Ballard Park’s quarry meadow which will be open at 6:30 pm for blankets and picnicking. Seating is on the grass- bring a blanket or lawn chair.  In the event of rain movies will be shown on the following night. Like regular movie theaters, smoking is prohibited.
