Marc Berger: American Roots

Providence Public Library welcomes singer songwriter Marc Berger for a free concert featuring cuts from his latest release RIDE. During his concerts, Berger weaves in stories of his experiences in the West, along with how those experiences influenced the writing of his songs. Marc has performed at Austin’s SXSW Music Festival, the Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals, and has opened shows for Bob Dylan, and other national acts. His song “The Last One,” a staple of Richie Havens’ concerts for over 25 years, has been quoted in the New York Times and featured on The CBS Evening News.
