Lippitt Lab: Back-to-School

What was schooling like in 19th century Providence? It’s back-to-school at Lippitt House Museum, but you’ll be learning on the go when you join this special themed tour. Tours will be offered every half-hour beginning at 2:00 pm with the last tour starting at 3:30 pm. Visitors will hear about different aspects of education in each room of the house with hands-on examples of Victorian schooling from slate boards to steel-nib pens to enhance the tour experience.
