Jazz Revelations: Becky Bass Group

Hailing from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, Becky comes from a long line of Caribbean musical artists. and was introduced to the steel pan at the early age of two. Becky’s love of music was solidified through ten years of classical piano, voice coaching, and numerous performances in musical theater.  Inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, she is a two-time New England Urban Music Award winner.

Joining Becky Bass on steel pan and vocals, will be Nick Sanfilippo (keys),  Hermand Duverné (bass), and Jared Williams (drums).

Funding for this concert will be provided in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and private funders.
