Curated by IFA’s Exhibition Committee including Mary Dondero, Stephen Fisher, Mercedes Nuñez, Howard Windham and Catherine Villeneuve, the artwork on display explores the passage of time as interpreted by IFA artists in a wide array of media and artistic approaches. The viewer will see work that represents captured moments, illusions of time passing, evidence of time already past, as well as works that represent time as being predetermined, spontaneous or atemporal.
Other elements of IFA’s 20th anniversary celebration include a Midsummer Spritzer Fundraiser from 5 – 8 p.m. on August 5; a multidisciplinary panel moderated by retired journalist Linda Borg on the theme of “Perspectives on Time” at 7 p.m. on August 17, and an end-of-year exhibit featuring over 40 current and former IFA exhibiting artists.
IFA exhibiting artists who will be participating in this group exhibit include Sally Barker, Eileen Siobhan Collins, Mary Dondero, Stephen Fisher, Philip Gruppuso, Gary Heise, Carl Keitner, Eileen Mayhew, Linda Megathlin, Rina Naik, Mercedes Nuñez, Anne Marie Rossi, Howard Rotblat-Walker, Lenny Rumpler, Howard Windham and Meredith Wolf.
Regular gallery hours are Thursdays, 12 – 3 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
