Gardeners’ Day 2016 Food & Wine is a not-to-be-missed event! Under Blithewold’s tent and Van Wickle Pavilion, enjoy talks by Ellen Ecker Ogden, Author, Gardener, and Designer; Champe Speidel, Co-Owner and Chef at Persimmon; Jamie Purviance, Chef and Author; John Nunes, Owner and Vintner at Newport Vineyards.

Afterwards, join us for a seasonal, fresh-from-the-garden dinner, along with a paired wine tasting by Newport Vineyards. A raffle benefitting Blithewold’s educational programs, a plant and book sale, vendors and food samples and wine tasting round out the evening’s festivities. Rain or shine.
