Viktor Plotnikov’s “Coma” is a dance-drama like no other. Inspired by Michael Chrichton’s 1978 film of the same name, the work is at turns tender and gripping, with the unique shapes, angles, and perspectives audiences have come to expect from this truly contemporary choreographer.

George Balanchine’s “Serenade” is considered one of the all time masterpieces of 20th century choreography. The ballet that launched the iconic choreographer’s extraordinary American career, is a visual treat, drenchec in moonlight and bursting with energy. The New Yorker magazine says “the piece is beautiful—stirring, sweeping.”
Smoke and Mirrors**

Choreography: Yury Yanowsky
Former Boston Ballet principal dancer Yury Yanowsky created his first major work for that company in 2016, which WBUR calls, “innovative and inspired, breaking the boundaries of possibilities in ballet.” The smoky, apocalyptic work is a reflection of today’s society and its codependent relationship with social media.
