January’s show “Exploration” – New Perspectives  features Paul Flanagan and Dennis Lavorato. Portraits in a variety of media that capture not only faces, but souls, and eras.

Inspired by the challenge of capturing faces in charcoal and acrylics, featured artist Paul Flanagan enjoys the continuing process of learning with each drawing and painting.

Featured portrait and abstract artist Dennis Lavorato says, “I see things as deconstructed shapes and shadows. I smell and hear in shape and color…” When the artist steps in front of his canvas, he has no idea of what will happen, but something interesting always does.
