In Creative Writing on the 26th, you’ll focus on the dreamy and strange fantasy sub-genre known as Magical Realism and will also touch on its sister sub-genres speculative fiction and slipstream.
In this class, we will focus on the dreamy and strange fantasy sub-genre known as Magical Realism and will also touch on its sister sub-genres speculative fiction and slipstream.
We will look at examples of Magical Realism and will create our own mystical realities on paper in which ordinary agreements mix with the extraordinary to form new and interesting contracts with reality that will make us question our assumptions about life as we know it.
All skill levels are welcome.
