CMW End-of-Year Student Gala

Join Community MusicWorks in celebrating our students’ accomplishments as we feature solo performances by our graduating seniors Jessenia, Sienna, and VanNashlee.

Also featured: a performance of this year’s song project, “The People United.” This spring, students and teachers explored Sergio Ortega’s iconic Chilean anthem of hopefulness and resistance, learning the song and studying its complicated history. Students then created their own original lyrics, imagining various causes that people of their generation might unite around. Their efforts culminate in a resounding all-student performance – a powerful moment, not to be missed.
