Bristol County Chorus Spring Concert

The Bristol County Chorus will present their annual Spring concert. Under the direction of Nicholas Rocha, the Chorus will be performing a program of uplifting British and American choral music in celebration of community and life on earth. Titled, A New Heaven, the chorus will be performing a wide range of works, from Vaughan Williams to The Beatles, as well as Spirituals and songs from the cinema. The chorus is joined this season by Bostonian tenor Christopher Hester, guitarist Tony Rocha, pianist Rena Anthony, and percussionist Karen Mellor. “The program is really about how these primary virtues – faith, hope, and love – represent generally ‘the keys to the Kingdom,’ and are ways for each of us to help bring about a better reality and future,” said director Nicholas Rocha.
