CALL FOR ENTRIES - Art Providence Show 2020

Entries are now open for the 2020 Art Providence Show.

The Art Providence Show is a juried show and sale of high-caliber art, craft and design (12 categories) that was created in 2017 to replace RISD’s well-loved, long-running annual holiday sale upon its cancellation. While maintaining the same location and much of the pre-existing audience, the show differs from RISD’s in that it is juried and applications are open to all artists/makers/designers working in the included categories – including but not limited to RISD alumni.  The new format is receiving rave reviews and has swiftly gained a reputation for attracting some of the country’s top artists, artisans, and designers.

This year’s show will take place November 13-15  at the RI Convention Center in downtown Providence and will feature 150-175 artists. Show categories include ceramics, jewelry, painting, furniture, apparel and more. Jurors for this year’s show include Jean McLaughlin, former Executive Director of the Penland School of Craft; Michael Lamar, RISD Senior Critic, artist and educator; and Beth McLauglin, Chief Curator at the Fuller Craft Museum.
