This month’s show at the Artists’ Cooperative of Westerly vibrates with a spectrum of color – and emotion. Come see, and meet the artists, at the show’s opening reception, Friday, July 7th, from 5-8 pm
Featuring Linda King and Arlene Piacquadio. Inspired by the sea, everyday objects and nature, featured artist Linda King creates abstract, textured mixed media pieces, one evoking the blues felt by sailors who see red skies in the morning.
With wax and richly colored pigments melted over fire, featured artist Arlene Piacquadio explores the colors and emotions that come with diving into unknown artistic territory.
