Can you teach the basics of violin, viola, or cello? Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child in Providence's West End or South Side?

The commitment of a few hours each month can give a child in our community the necessary support to imagine a world with fewer limits and greater possibility.

Musical Mentors help youth to solve technical/musical problems, gain valuable practice and listening skills, and help them develop.

It's in practicing that our kids really grow musically and gain a sense of accomplishment. Learning how to practice is just as valuable as what they learn in their lessons. It's in the practice room that they actually improve and develop skills. Musical Mentors will be directly involved with that development.

Through the practice program, Musical Mentors will develop relationships with students and families.

Caring, mentoring, nurturing relationships with young people and their families is what the Musical Mentors program is all about.
