WCFA is excited to announce its first national call for art. We will be using the CaFE tool to administer this call. We understand that this is a new process for our membership; however, we are confident that the tool will be easy to navigate for artists. Also, we'll be able to reach a broader range of artists for this important exhibition.

In celebration of the centennial of the 19th Amendment, we are requesting submissions for Abiding Courage, a juried exhibition running March 4 - April 9, 2020.

One hundred years ago the US Constitution was amended to ensure individual states could no longer deny women their right to vote. The long struggle to ratify the 19th Amendment brought forward thousands of heroic women who stood up for the first time to demand their rights.

The goal of the exhibition is to bring together history and contemporary artwork to inspire viewers to think critically about the right to vote and to encourage participation in our democracy. Keeping themes in mind, all media are welcome (2D, 3D, abstract, or representational).

Juror: Jonny Skye, Skye Gallery, Providence, RI

Fee: $40 for Non-Members (1-3 images); $30 for WCFA Members (1-3 images)
