REDEMPTION is a complex visualization of varied voices exploring the idea of social healing from magic to reparations, political heroism to alcohol, drowning to patronizing comfort, and soft regret to war.  The artwork of 19 artists from 12 states in a variety of media will complicate the human response to repair, recover and take responsibility for human atrocities.

Skye Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Providence, RI working to cultivate extraordinary talent through art sales and artist management. Moving beyond nostalgia and traditional representation, Skye Gallery celebrates work that speaks to our humanity, challenges the dominant narrative, and offers a vision for tomorrow.

REDEMPTION is Skye Gallery’s 26th exhibition in two years and the first with a national scope.  Artists living and working in California, Washington, Colorado, Texas, West Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Maine and Massachusetts will have their work on display.
